Glass Bead Making Workshops
Lampwork glass bead making workshops are run every month in West Melbourne, Victoria by Pauline Delaney. These workshops are run on minor burners.
Two students per class.

Beginner classes cover how to melt glass and make basic shapes, pull stringers, decorate beads with raised dots, flower patterns, gravity beads and more.

In intermediate classes students learn to work with enamels, make hollow beads, cased florals, colour reactions and sculpting. See below for more details!

Pauline also travels to different venues teaching a group of up to ten students. Workshops at beginner and intermediate level can be arranged near you.

Lampwork Bead Beginner Classes in Melbourne 2012

Beginners lampwork beadmaking class in West Melbourne at River Studios. Learn how to melt glass and make glass beads, pull stringers and decorate glass beads with dot decoration, flowers and gravity beads to name a few styles in a two day class.

You will make about 25 to 30 beads.
Suppliers, tips and OH&S notes provided.

Feel confident to set up at home or in your studio after this two day class.

Intermediate Lampwork One Day Class Melbourne

March 17th and 18th 2012

Learn how to make glass beads on the Central Coast.
This two day class will enable you to melt glass and create coloured glass beads. make between 25 to 30 glass beads in the weekend class. Leave knowing you can set up at home after learning the basic techniques in making glass beads, pulling stringers and bead decoration.

Intermediate Class Central Coast
Patonga
March 19th 2012

This intermediate class will cover revision of stringer techniques and control using colour combinations, enamels and reactive colours in designs. We also cover complex cane decoration, off mandrel techniques for sculpting, hollow beads and silver fuming. All students work on minor burners and we will troubleshoot with questions and answers.
