Bead Making Workshops

Lampwork glass beadmaking workshops are run every month in Melbourne, Victoria by Pauline Delaney. These workshops are run on minor burners in Maidstone, 10k from Melbourne CBD.

Two to three students per class.

Pauline also travels to different states teaching a group of up to ten students. Workshops at beginner and intermediate level can be arranged near you.

Beginner classes cover how to melt glass and make basic shapes, pull stringers, decorate beads with raised dots, flowers and gravity beads.

In intermediate classes students learn to work with enamels, make hollow beads, cased florals, colour reactions and sculpting.

Beginners lampwork beadmaking class in Maidstone, 10km from Melbourne CBD. Learn how to melt glass and make glass beads, pull stringers and decorate glass beads with dot decoration, flowers and gravity beads in a two day class.
You will make about 25 to 30 beads.
OH&S notes provided.

Feel confident to set up at home or in your studio after this two day class.

Intermediate Lampwork One Day Class Melbourne

Learn how to decorate with enamels, frits, make hollow beads and lay stringers with deliberation. We will look at shape and disaster recovery.

Learn how to make glass beads in Patonga on the Central Coast of NSW in a 2 day workshop. This class covers melting glass and making glass beads, pull stringers and decorate beads in various styles.
You will make between 25 and 30 beads in class.

Grafton Artsfest Lampwork Class NSW
Tuesday 6th to Sunday 11th October 2009

Adventure into the world of hot glass. Come and learn how to make glass beads and discover the world of lampwork. Here you will fine-tune your skills while working on surface techniques. This class is open to all levels.
Individual coaching on projects and tuition will be given as the class will be grouped into skill levels.
