Bead Making Workshops

Lampwork glass beadmaking workshops are run every month in Melbourne, Victoria by Pauline Delaney. These workshops are run on minor burners in Pauline's studio in Fitzroy. Limit four per class.

Pauline also travels to different states teaching a group of up to ten students. Workshops at beginner and intermediate levels have been run in Perth, Western Australia, Manly and Patonga, NSW, Deloraine, Tasmania and Melbourne, Victoria.

Beginner classes cover how to melt glass and make basic shapes, pull stringers, decorate beads with raised dots, flowers and gravity beads.

In intermediate classes students learn to work with enamels, make hollow beads, cased florals, colour reactions and sculpting.

Rental Days

If you do not have room for a studio or want to work alongside other beadmakers. Pauline has rental days at her studio in Fitzroy. You can use her minor burners by the hour.

$15 per hour

Intermediate Lampwork Class Patonga 2008
October Wednesday 15th

Learn how to decorate with enamels, frits, make hollow beads and lay stringers with deliberation. We will look at shape and disaster recovery and work as a group and then work on indvidual projects in the afternoon. This will be casing, sculpting and colour reactions.

Students who are coming back for another class will work on their own project under my tuition with demonstartions.
